Acai berries are also very plentiful in healthy fats. Up to 50% of the edible pulp of this berry is composed of the essential fatty acids Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9. The fat found in the acai berry is also high in monounsaturated oleic acid, which is the same as olive oil, which is a recognized nutritional powerhouse.

It is also uncommonly strange that this berry contains the 19 amino acids that are the building blocks of protein. Not only that but the acai berry also contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and E and the minerals potassium, magnesium, copper, calcium and zinc.

The acai berry is not a mystical brew that will help you lose weight but this small berry is an enormously and highly nutritious food that can help you to acquire optimal health and energy.
